Can someone help me with knowing if laser is working

It's been 5 days since I was lasered. It was an Elite IQ laser so it had the alexandrite frequencies and I have fair skin and dark facial hair.

It hurt, skin was very burned feeling afterwards, all the follicles has red bumps for a couple days afterwards... But it has kinda been like my shit is growing again, I've only seen a bunch of little bits of hair when I rub my face, and only a couple strands have actually came out so far. And when I tug with tweezers, only a few came out easy.

I went to 8 sessions with like a different clinic and it did not too much so I'm fucking worried that even with this new clinic I'm gonna be fucked and I want like some reassurance that I'm not. Please, is this normal?

well the redness went away but the follicles stayed a bit inflamed for a couple days or so. idk apparantly the machine scans your skin type and gives the highest safe settings for power, but then i begged the tech to give me more power and she did.

oh my techs move it up a little each treatment to not fuck up my skin they said full power can cause scarring.

idgaf about scarring no more, i just fucking pass when i pluck my facial hair but that only lasts like a week max i need this shit off my face rn or im gonna fucking explode.

besides my tech this time was a actual licensed doctor so i feel a bit more confident she knows what she was doing, at least i hope

can someone just pwease tell me if this is normal for this much time after laser or if its gonna be ineffective again like my last 8 sessions at the last clinic
