I don't do it, we farm sex ed out to an outside contractor. But woke sex ed is 1000% real and I'm jelly, if I'd known there was a word for what I was feeling and that there was a way to get help when I was the age my students are I'd have gotten on HRT by like 16 at the latest.

Yeah that's not what it's about. The trans part of the curriculum is just explanation of some trans related terms, what GD is, that HRT exists, and the process for getting it as a minor.

On a small chance you're a teacher, do yall have more common intersex conditions(klinefelters, locah)/disordered puberty conditions (gyno, pcos) also in the curriculum? I think it would be beneficial, a lot would benefit from earlier screening and treatment since from experience with people with these conditions it did cause them a lot of distress/discomfort during puberty when untreated

The sex ed contractors don't talk about those in detail for god knows what reason, but because (site-specific practice that could be used to figure out who I am) I have an excuse to give a short lecture on gender anyways, and I cover them during that. Haven't covered gyno and PCOS in the past, but I'll try working it in this year and see what reaction I get from students.
