Hey everyone. So I had a trans friend and I really adore and love her, she isn't my friend anymore but she made me understand that some of you guys do need help passing and such. I used to be really transphobic to fit in with other women, so I felt kind today to help you all. So go ahead and ask away.

My initial advice, specifically for those looking to getting FFS, is to first understand the female proportions and compare them to yours. Who is your inspiration and aesthetic? Say you are a MtF who wants to have a similar vibe to pickle. Firstly you'll see that her philtrum is short; no matter how masculine biological women may be born as, they have harmonious lip to nose shapes for them to be viewed by society still as women. Of course, some women have a bit longer philtrums, but her face shape and harmony usually evens it out.

Focus on the nose to lip area in FFS, it's a big step and a noticeable feature to tell if you pass or not. It's a biological thing it seems. So shortening the philtrum or contouring your lips to make the philtrum shorter is important, as it shortens the overall mid face too.

I try to help, or I can help in other ways, that was just my initial advice. FFS is a step to pass and look cis. But I wouldn't go full into it; instead do full ffs the first round, and then try to do certain procedures one at a time. say you have trouble with your nose; focus on your nose instead of getting round 2

As far as vibes unless im dressing tomboyishly I try to do a breezy/Mediterranean or earth tones kind of look because it goes well with my skintone and dark curly hair and dark eyes. My only inspiration that I feel looks even remotely close to me is paintings of jewish or Spanish women with similar features to me. I don't wear makeup but should probably at least learn nomakeup makeup, I do take care of my skin though with vitamin C, retinol, moisturizer, and sunscreen

I understand, I was terrified of both genders as a bi girl. I think that thinking what you want to say to a girl is a good step. Communicating to a girl like on a date or something, say how you feel a bit nervous and not very confident. Her response will tell you everything. If she thinks it's funny that you are uncomfortable and act shy, then she isn't the one. But for those you'll meet that'll understand and acknowledge your nervousness around women and not knowing how to act, will stick around for you.

Communication is key. Even if you have to write something down on your phone real quick and say it out loud, talking/wriiting helps

I don't know much about vocal stuff, but how I helped my trans friend talk a bit more neutral and not fakingly high tone or her normal mass voice, but drinking tea with honey and practicing small coughs instead of loud ones can help. When you cough, don't put your strength in it, try to cover your mouth with your arm as much as you can as well. This is what I would do. When coughing train your throat to kind of let out and in in small parts, instead of coughing all the way

So i did my FFS with Lachiver in France he's quite good at keeping your look kinda if that makes sense won't raceswap you or anything lmao be careful with his hairline lowering thing just say no i had someone i know do it with him and he put it way too low it was so weird lmao
As for foundation yeah I don't wear any like what even should I wear??? I use gold blush and blue/turquoise tones often, white eyeliner is cool too, or go full goth and that works well too idk. But foundation is just impossible lol

Can I ask what all you got done for FFS? I have "masc" features but in a more med woman way ig you get it. Like slight brow bone, straight low hair line, big lips, eyes etc.

I'm a pale olive if that's you too! I also like doing more black eyeliner and stuff i just really avoid red and pink ig. I have huge eyes too and even after FFS I still have a slight browbone (way smaller than before but yeah if I had no browbone I'd look botched)

So I got forehead, nose, very light chin work (wasn't needed but he put it in for free) and a lip lift but I wouldn't do it again with him idk I feel like his specialty is bones not soft tissue so I just had another lip lift rn. I have quite thin lips naturally fwiw not like white people thin but not huge either lol

Uh I tend to wear pastels or navy blue and stuff, I find red burgundy and stuff doesn't fit me. I really love blues really tbqh my favourite colour is turquoise lol I feel like gold and bronze are a bit too much and yeah I can see how that'd make you look yellow. Frankly I tend to stick to more neutral muted colours I'm not into super garish shit except for sneakers where I go all out lol
