>>40622970 (OP)Usually people are dysphoric about not being female. They don't want to be trans women, they want to be actual women. They start HRT and it makes them feel better, but it never makes them feel fully like women.
It's very common for people to get one surgery, address one area of dysphoria, and then later become more dysphoric about a different area. And then need surgery again. Because gender dysphoria isn't curable, it's just treatable.
Even if you're a 5'3 HSTS passoid, you're still a male and can't bear your husband's children. Some people learn to be satisfied with this, but deep down it tears apart every trans woman that she can't have her own child.
Also, the term "gender dysphoria" is just a label for a specific cluster of symptoms that have divergent psychosocial causes. Gender dysphoria is not one thing. Becuase of the proliferation of troon propaganda, there are a lot of people transitioning who definitely wouldn't have 20-30 years ago.
HRT and gender affirming care can be a good last resort treatment option for severely dysphoric classical transsexuals, but the modern cohort is full of people who are low-to-mid dysphoria and/or have abnormal sexualities who have become emotionally attached to their trans identity as a maladaptive coping mechanism.
