I Grindr and I'm despite the nature of that specific app, I'm going to make a broader more generalizing statement in regards to transgender mtf dating. It seems to be immensely superficial (idc if this is obvious), I feel that the transgender people on there only want to literally use my body for sex and in general don't consider any other form of sex or gender to be dating worthy unless they fit in with their niche of T4T. Everytime I talk to those people on that app they either 1) are looking for something that increases their own percieved status like increasing their body count 2) are bored and flake out last second because they just wanted a conversation or some entertainment 3) ignore completely because you don't immediately fit the unimpressive status of being on estrogen for a few months or a year. I've recently started taking estrogen and I really doubt that after a few months of this that I'll have any of those issues related to actually meeting people or having fun I just mentioned but I can't escape the disgust I now feel towards those people. I realize that all of a sudden those people are probably going to think about actually more seriously considering me as a dating option or a friend or whatever and I just feel hatred towards that. Just going from being used and having time wasted to all of sudden acting like I'm now worth something.

How am I supposed to date transgender people if I know they're only interested in me because of the fact that I'll have been on hormones for a while? I stg maybe incels are right

This still lilkely still applies in a broader sense to dating though. Also there isn't any other dating app (or "sex app" whatever you want to call it) that allows you to meet people like Grindr. Not for trans people anyway. Not that I'm aware of

Normal apps are built to maximize screentime by forcing you to droll 1 by 1 through endless boring profiles. Grindr is a gallery view, you can quickly see everyone all at once and filter quickly

It genuinely makes me want to stop right now, like it's unbearable repeatedly seeing the false sense of superiority people think they have over doing HRT

I'm saying I'm not the problem, other people are the problem.

I would be fine just dating guys and being gay too but the type I like are very feminine in appearance and too niche compared to the vast majority of the male population. So in order to boost my odds of dating those people I take estrogen so I can have a nicer body.
