After some light trawling through a few search engines it seems like this is an old story, and that she has had literal years to do something about it. Notably I also can’t find many English articles about her or her case, and most of them appear to be the same few right wing sites parroting the same as what Reduxx has up. it is transphobia. homophobia and transphobia were both added to anti-racism laws a few years ago in brazil by the supreme court. she is being charged with racism for 5 posts so she can get up to 25 years (5 years each). the case is going straight to the supreme court, so the decision is final, she wont be able to appeal
