nta nor am I a trans woman but my feeling of dysphoria comes from my body not matching how my mind instinctively expects it to, and this causes distress. The way it links to my gender I suppose is that people use these aspects of my body to guess what my gender is, but the feeling of dysphoria is to an extent independent of that.

do you think trannies are positing something outside the realm of ordinary physics? i mean, some do, but those people are religious in other ways too, they're rejecting the whole frame rather than positing a single exception to it.

the only situation in which "prove you look female" is even a meaningful request is if the person's appearance is obscured, like in an internet conversation. in those circumstances, who cares? are you going around demanding of cis people on the internet that they prove they look female or male? in real life it's of course outright nonsense, because the way you look is just visible.

i don’t know what you mean by souls, souls don’t seem to be real. consciousness is real. people have feelings, perceptions, and thoughts that are a product of physical processes in the body. consciousness doesn’t exist independently from the body. identity is developed by consciousness.identity is just what you relate your self awareness with, it’s your self concept. some people’s associate themselves with the opposite sex, and have a self concept that makes them feel that they ought to be the opposite sex physically.


gender tends to be viewed from a binary lens by most people. for some people, if you aren’t a man then you must be a woman. when some individuals dont feel like they are a woman then they jump to the conclusion that they are a man, and vise versa. a cross sex gender identity can be developed when someone feels detached from their bodies, feels distressed about their bodies, and has a strong desire to have the body of the opposite sex. this is essentially gender dysphoria which is a well documented psychological disorder. there’s enough cases of people with these symptoms that it creates a pattern that can labeled as gender dysphoria. there’s neurological evidence that show that trans people tend to have atypical brains compared to other people of the same sex, and sometimes their brain will closely resemble people of the opposite sex.

emotions and mental processes are a product of physical processes that occur in the body. they aren’t detached from the body. thoughts, feelings, perceptions, and senses aren’t your soul, it’s your consciousness. the psyche in psychology has nothing to do with the soul. it’s just the totality of your conscious and unconscious mind.

gender dysphoria and cross sex identification isn’t not dualistic in a cartesian sense. the mind is a product of the body, it doesn’t not exist independently from it. human consciousness usually arises from neurons communicating thru electrical impulses and neurotransmitters sending signals between neurons. it has nothing to do with souls. gender dysphoric is strongly influence by neurology and other biological factors. there’s no female souls. souls are inherently immaterial and independent from the body. whereas consciousness is a product of material processes. trans people don’t have gendered souls they have an atypical psyche for their assigned sex.
