Unexpected Changes
So, I've noticed some unexpected changes since I came out.
Normally, I was more preoccupied with how people in my age bracket would perceive/treat me when I came out. But what I found out was, older people started... including me more?
Say I went to get my hair cut at a salon, instead of being there silently, the ladies at the salon would talk my ear off, and share all the juicy gossip with me, treating me like one of them.
Same with the old ladies at the store when I go to buy groceries. They just come and chat me up. It's as if they were recognizing me as one of their own, and naturally including me in their gossiping circles.
This is an unexpected (but very welcome) sign that I have probably made it.
