This comes at a great mental cost and ultimately manifest numerous other neurosis. Mishima (who was once a puer who willed himself into antipuerness) despite his successes never managed to absolute himself from one of the underlying conditions of the puer, the longing of youth and the illusion of it, ultimstely killing himself.
