We need to remove the black and brown lines from the progress pride flag. Why TF is it there to begin with, black does not automatically equal queer. Race has no place on a gay flag

The black line was originally added as a way to memorialize victims of aids.
The problem is that it got added around the time that all that racial shit was going down in the US, so when the version that did include a brown line for racial reasons, the black line got swept up in that and its actual meaning was mostly forgotten.
The flag should have a black line and it should have nothing to do with race. Fuck American racial politics, that shit ruined the flag.

i think the progress pride flag is kind of dumb because people should just have individual flags instead of saying "oh youre trans? thats the same as being gay, right? we can just lump you all together, right?" what, was the cost of the trans flag too high but the gay flag was juusstt right?

the reason is that crackers have been seen as the public face of gayness and overall queerness forever, so it’s a reminder that black and brown queer people have always existed and often face even more discrimination because of the intersection of racism and homophobia/transphobia

I threw this together, would something like this look better? I threw the queers down the middle in the rainbow, and the X and Y chromosome are on the opposing gender side with a line denoted above them, a reference to how antiprotons and antineutrons are denoted with a line above them.

(Antiparticles are much rarer in nature have opposite charge and spin and charge to what they should have, they remind me of tranny particles)

the tranny flag's primary issues are that
1. it implies that trannies are all men on the outside, and women on the inside. (this is what the pink and blue are symbolic for). however, some of us pass, and its really bad to imply that all trannies still look like a man on the outside.
2. this meaning as described above also fully excludes trans men.
