Im bipolar bpd and medication is the only thing that keeps me from going ballistic. I still have outbursts and episodes but theyre easier for my partner and i to get under control when im medicated. When im unmedicated im completely spiral and threaten murder suicide and run away and throw and break things

try to direct anger inward instead of at others. this doesnt actually cure it, you just end up quiet bpd but one of the main things that makes BPDs scary and hard to deal with is the angry outbursts.

Idk I was speaking generally, for example if a partner does something that's upsetting me. Sometimes I ask ChatGPT and it tells me it's reasonable to be angry about it but I'm not sure if the AI is just trying to be nice to me. Last time I went nuts was because my boyfriend didn't say or do anything on my birthday and he said he just didn't think birthdays were important. I was really angry and sad and he told me I was being BPD again.

Maybe try to get a baseline for your reactions. Think of past times you've been really upset, or track future ones. The times you've been really hurt and upset but reacted in a way most people would call "normal" or "appropriate" should probably be your litmus for what a non-BPD anger looks like.
