Yes, just like me, and just like me you suffer from thinking you can put the whole world into an analysis for a few normal people. Caring more about the people of your own country may not be ideologically pure, but it's a necessity to not go insane, and from that, get used by others. Or, to put it in a wording that may hurt you and make you understand, the way you view the world is one in which you see yourself and those like you (in every possible interpretation of the phrase) as superior, while you yourself think that you're doing the opposite
