don't throw a hissy fit when they get it wrong
do be willing to answer questions, because like it or not it is your duty to educate them
and don't tell them gender is a social construct, it's a facile argument at best amd I have yet to hear a definition for social construct that accounts for even 50% of transgender and transgender-adjacent cases
do be ready to argue neurology and bioessentialism; they can easily dismiss sociology but are usually willing to consider an actual medical condition
