yuri is the purest form of love is an idea like non euclidean space. its something that is pure because it's 2d. gay marriage doesn't exist (its a law now but no one gets married because theres no love or trust). So in a sense, with higher divorce rates and more infidelity, it would be impossible to describe gay and lesbian partnerships as purer than heterosexual.

Depends. Any relationship without mutual respect and equality is pure cancer. Het relationships are more likely to be cancer because of gender nonsense, but top/bottom dynamics can make gay relationships cancer too. So there is a sense of balance and oneness with fem4fem/butch4butch that het relationships will never experience. Subjectively it feels like opposite sex partners complement you but same sex partners complete you, are more truly your other half.

My brother went to school with a gay guy like that. He was considering being trans but decided against it, one of the reasons being he thought gay relationships were superior to straight ones.
