same but i never really masculinized. hrt slammed me hard and i malefailed in a grocery store the other day and i'm 8mo in. i have about every type of dysphoria besides gd and taking E made me a happy boy but now i guess people think im a girl so whatever ill see what happens and just go from there

Starting at 18 instead of 21 would barely have helped. Male puberty is pretty much complete by age 17, and much of the masculinization is permanent well before that point.

Both sexes get gradual bony hip growth through adulthood. You can see it in how the biiliac breadth increases with age up to age 60 or so in the CDC anthropomorphic reference data: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/series/sr_11/sr11_249.pdf

HRT will do fat redistribution, but "Your hip bones can widen up to age 25!" is just referring to that slow growth that everyone gets after puberty.
