I’ve only known two openly gay guys in real life. The first ended up marrying a woman and has kids saying his gayness was just a phase. The other transitioned into a woman and has a husband who she started dating back when she was still identifying as a gay man.

you notice when you are little all of society is centered around sort of keeping boys from girls while maintaining this competitive social system where the hottest males are expected to pursue the hottest females and males must express interest in females to be valid, and compete athletically to woo the interest of females etc.
gay kids are given no place in society
