People didn't vote for Kamala because she had very little policy that actually helped working class people (and what she did have, like anti-price gouging on groceries, she quickly walked back), seemed like a hypocrite on a number of topics, and refused to divorce her image from that of Joe Biden. Israel/Gaza as an issue definitely contributed to showing she was hypocritical and feckless, but I think the rest of it is actually more important. especially given that the "Undecided" votes, the Green votes, the Peace and Freedom votes were not enough to make or break it.
