I’ve wanted to be a parent, a mother, a homemaker for like 30 years, I will never have this life, I can never even adopt and have a family (mental health and physical health issues), my dream died long ago anon… if I could one day even have the hope of a husband and having his child I think I could die happy

For me to be able to carry a child to term and give birth, I'd have to also probably have a cis-like vagina. The current types of SRS provide something that looks like a vagina, possibly being self-lubricating and allowing for heterosexual PIV sex, but it's not like they could stretch and grow the way a cis vagina can. IIRC the vagina becomes 10cm in radius when giving birth starts, or so I remember from health class years ago.

Anyway, if it were possible, then yes I would because I would like kids, I want to be a mother, but adoption would probably be very hard because who would want to give up their child to a trans person and their partner when so many infertile cishet couples want children right now?

in theory yes, but it depends on what my boyfriend (would be a husband if we’re having kids) wants. i’d probably still get a womb transplant for the sake of having one, but i’m not 100% certain i’d use it. my inability to get pregnant is the biggest problem, not necessarily not being pregnant
