ive been dating my bf for nearly two years, and i've been open about my gender identity and wishes to transition medically. he seems pretty indifferent to it, but i'm nervous that he'll switch up when i start going thru the process of getting the surgeries and hrt. i'm just really scared. we've been dating since high school and he's my only lifeline. i can't bear to see him go, especially with all the stuff i've been thru mentally lately.

i think a lot of cis people don't really believe in gender transition so they'll say yes when they think you're just going to wear some girlier clothes and when the reality that you're about to grow boobs and possibly go off and get vagina surgery not to mention all the little effects all over your body sets in the fact that he's gay is going to suddenly matter a lot more
