NTA, but the number of doctors in the US is artificially restricted by a guild. That's why the majority of doctors at any hospital in the country are now graduates of random medical schools in other continents. If that guild wasn't driving down supply to inflate the price of seeing a doctor, to the extent it's very difficult to see a real doctor instead of a nurse practitioner even if you don't mind seeing someone who barely speaks English, there would be plenty of doctors and they wouldn't be charging the value of a decade's work from a normal person for simple operations. This is one of the few problems with society that is entirely artificial and could be resolved easily.

Nobody has any right to target trans healthcare when fat poor people who just don't feel like eating a salad cost the system 1000x more. End of story.
