Do you think stories with Buddhist or Christian influences are indistinguishable?

For example, if you were to analyze stories like Cloud Atlas, Les Miserables, The Mysterious Stranger, Lord of the Rings, etc., would you come to nearly similar philosophical and spiritual conclusions for all of them, or would you be able to easily tell which religion influenced whichever book?

I wouldn't say indistinguishable but it's close. Christian influences seem to always have a stance of simply putting your faith trust and love in God. Buddhism would be more internal and bettering yourself, purely.

It's similar because both would be introspective in relation to the main character, but Christianity would definitely put more on the external in relation to a personal relationship with God as well as relations to others.

Given that retardsd routinely insist that LOTR is a Christian allegory when it absutely isn't I'd say that no matter what it's always going to be dummies projecting their beliefs

I guess Tolkien himself, who said that LOTR was a catholic inspired work, was a dummy and a retard.

Christians like to steal everything from others, like they stole pagan gods and turned them into "angels", plagiarized Stoic philosophy and credited it to random jews in the bible, stole Greek and Roman art and architecture, even though their god himself forbids them from idol worship or making images of any kind of people and god.

He didn't say that though. He was a philologist and LOTR is a pastiche of Germanic and Arthurian/Celtic myth

I think Buddhism and Christianity differ in the sense that death for Christians brings peace/justice whereas death for Buddhists brings further suffering/injustice.

Like you probably wouldn't have a loving pet owner tearfully and remorsefully putting down their beloved dog to end it's suffering in a Buddhist story.
