Why are autistic zoomer women obsessed with this franchise?

I’m more partial to the dragon-centric spin off; Wings of Fire, myself.

Even the titles are unimaginative as all hell. Like, holy fuck—if you can't come up with a better title, the content must be pure slop.

I think it's for little kids man. Probably a challenge to distinguish what is and isn't for children as someone such as yourself though, posting an anime reaction image and what not.

I feel like this series caused a lot of furry awakenings if they group up with this series.

Are the cats also engaged in some kind of masculine duty like being a tradie or warrior or professional?

I'm a dude but I read these books religiously as a 8-12 year old. The premise of "cats in the woods" sounds quite silly, but compared to other books/franchises written for kids they are incredibly deep in regards to the themes and plots they explore. Genocide, war, immigration, racism, religous fanatacism, etc. are all topics explored in the books. As an adult they don't hold up as well. If you were a more "advanced" reader as a kid these were the shit. Its also a very meaty series to sink your teeth into. I think it has in the range of over 1,000 named characters, with lots of subplots and things.

I read the first cycle as a kid. It was pretty alright, honestly. I wasn't as much into the second cycle, only got a few books in, plus I learned Firestar dies at some point (well, his daughter had already taken over as protagonist at this point). Honestly, it's a pretty ballsy idea for a children's book series to keep switching your protagonists, I respect that. But I didn't like it as a kid. Then again, I always was put off by "new generation" sequels. I spent time investing into these characters and now you're replacing them with a bunch of new ones? But apparently that's not a problem for most people online.
Not a furry btw.
