These "life-changing" books from random dudes that just tell people to be "happy". And lifes meaning is just work the job you want. And manifest your happiness.
These books 40 year olds read and then give you "life advise" with opinions that aren't grounded on literally anything. If you ask how "speaking to the universe" even makes any sense and how the "thinker" behind the "system" got to this conclusion they won't even understand that you need to build an actual thought-system based on truths nh shit.

People who read these books are probably far happier than I am and it makes me sad that I switched from self-help slop to philosophy and actual literature. I hope I will fall for this "just speak to the universe and the universe will give you what you want " in the future.

I was recommended Eckhart Tolle's book on New Age Spiritualism (tricked, actually, the woman told me it was self help) and couldn't understand how someone could be this retarded.
