No. Any "well-written" work does not literature make. Literature requires poetic imagination. This imagination is born from an interplay between reality and the transcendental world accessed via the imagination. In this sense, literature does not imitate reality but recreates it and goes beyond it. Meanwhile, non-fiction claims and tries to imitate reality, but moreso just ends up imitating literature; its language, ideas, frameworks.
