As much as I hate Jordan Peterson, 12 rules is pretty solid as far as advice goes. You could say his life is a refutation of everything he wrote, but to be completely fair to him, his mind got completely fucked after he got on benzos, so he was a different person when he wrote 12 rules.

Self help books are always funny to me. At best they could be 50 pages but are stretched out to 200 pages. They all are 80% the same but have a few different quirks that make them unique. They also all say follow this advice and your life gets better. And if it doesn’t then follow the advice in the second book or come to my seminars.
This book in particular is basically don’t be a fucking loser, take care of yourself and don’t hang out with other losers.
