Should we read Das Kapital as if it were a novel with a narrative arc, characters like the worker and the capitalist, and recurring motifs rather than simply as an economic or philosophical treatise?

If this is a shitpost, then I salute it. If it's a serious question then the answer is 'no', as such an effort is too incoherent to be seriously attempted.

Fredric Jameson actually wrote a literary analysis of Capital called Representing Capital, you ought to check that out. There's also Marx in Hell, which analyzes Capital through the lens of Dante

Lyotard actually tried doing that in his work libidinal economy, where he tries to fragment marx into A innocent virgin (in the sense of capitalism) girl and a prosecutor who is building a case against capital for her, his conclusion was that the prosecutor got too obsessed with building the case that he never actually wanted to free the world. So the prosecutor keeps researching and researching while the virgin keeps melochning in her hysteric world

No. You should read it as a choose-your-own-adventure book.
