It is literally all chemicals. And attitude. Attitude can overcome the chemicals, but it's easier to walk without an extra 80 pounds strapped to your back. Quit the weed you degenerate, quit drinking, quit eating any leftover processed anything. Eggs and fruits and vegetables.60 straight uninterrupted minutes outside, without a device, every single day, on your own time.

I promise you your soul isn't fucked up and your problem is all the poison the boomers put in the fucking food and your other bad habits.

>read the gospel of john
>read the book of acts
>read a book on biblical interpretation, like sproul's "knowing scripture"
>start a daily bible reading plan, like m'cheyne's, which will take you through the new testament and the psalms twice per year, and the old testament once per year.
>join a church
>take on responsibility in the church

there you go. now you're fixed.

jeez reading the other replies is soul crushing. my fav books that helped me most were stuff like
>meditations by aruelius
>promethius rising by wilson
>siddartha by hesse
but personal questions need personal answers OP, and a book can only help so much

Look at these posts. THIS is how retarded and evil people are in this world. They see someone down on their luck, and what do they do? They try to reprogram and brainwash them. It's not real advice. It's a thinly veiled attempt to make a vulnerable person more like you.

The Bible isn't going to fix your character flaws. Just read Flowers for Algernon or something.

You're a histrionic autist and your choice is slow suicide. I pity you. You'll never change because you don't want to change.

Gargantua and Pantagruel. If it doesn’t fix you, it’s over and you need to find a political cause and self-immolate in front of a government building

A broken soul? Or you just see the world as it is in reality? The only road to happiness is to forget what you've learned and act like a child again.

Try reading about some volunteer opportunities in your local area so you can get out and do something positive in your community and meet other people.
Otherwise try Kierkegaard or something, he’d pretty cool, and he hated himself for a while too. You’ll be starting with a lot in common. Though if you’re not going the religious reading route I don’t know what to tell you.

If you feel desperately broken and have nowhere or nobody to turn to, read:
>Get Out of Your Mind and Into Your Life

if you're interested in why you're feeling the way you do, read:
>How Emotions are Made
>The Tree of Knowledge

This pair of books I found helpful, too:
>The Courage To Be Disliked
> The Courage To Be Happy

The real work begins when you start questioning why you feel the way you do. Be very critical about the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors you experience. Does one lead to another? What's the chain of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that led to you thinking and writing that you feel broken? What systems are you a participant of (internal and external, actively and passively) that make you feel, think, and behave this way?

Good luck, anon.
