Is /lit/ the most Christian board?

If you're talking about belief, then probably not, but if you're talking about knowledge, then yes.

Depends on what you mean by Christian.
Like >>24481672 said, /lit/ is clearly the most informed on the subject and the Christians here tend to be ”genuine” Christians, but I bet there are a bunch of Christian people on /tv/ and other boards, they just tend to follow what they’ve been taught growing up.

I'd say so. There aren't as many nominal Christians as /pol/, /his/, or /x/, but I get the feeling that the /lit/ Christians are actually sincere, while /pol/ and /his/ just use Christianity as a poltical larp and /x/ just uses it to justify New Age syncretism.

Luther's face is to me expressive of him; in Kranach's best portraits I find the true Luther. A rude plebeian face; with its huge crag-like brows and bones, the emblem of rugged energy; at first, almost a repulsive face. Yet in the eyes especially there is a wild silent sorrow; an unnamable melancholy, the element of all gentle and fine affections; giving to the rest the true stamp of nobleness. Laughter was in this Luther, as we said; but tears also were there. Tears also were appointed him; tears and hard toil. The basis of his life was Sadness, Earnestness. In his latter days, after all triumphs and victories, he expresses himself heartily weary of living; he considers that God alone can and will regulate the course things are taking, and that perhaps the Day of Judgment is not far. As for him, he longs for one thing: that God would release him from his labor, and let him depart and be at rest. They understand little of the man who cite this in discredit of him!—I will call this Luther a true Great Man; great in intellect, in courage, affection and integrity; one of our most lovable and precious men. Great, not as a hewn obelisk; but as an Alpine mountain,—so simple, honest, spontaneous, not setting up to be great at all; there for quite another purpose than being great! Ah yes, unsubduable granite, piercing far and wide into the Heavens; yet in the clefts of it fountains, green beautiful valleys with flowers! A right Spiritual Hero and Prophet; once more, a true Son of Nature and Fact, for whom these centuries, and many that are to come yet, will be thankful to Heaven.

I happen to think very few atheists actually exist. If soience can't explain what was before the Big Bang or why the universe is expanding, then there's no way to know that God doesn't exist. Especially if one has never tried mysticism. So most people who claim do be atheists actually have to do a reverse leap of faith

Fair enough, not every anon participating in theological discussion is a believer. But in my feeling most people who start such threads (who aren't trolls) are earnest in their desire to understand God and this world better, because they believe in him or at least want that.

Could have to do with making the State your center of focus, loving the State etc. in ways that should be reserved for God.
>1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

yeah, because /lit/ is full of midwits who need faith to come with a manual and footnotes. christianity is the perfect midwit belief—full of endless justifications, rituals, and debates to keep the fragile convinced they’re “deep” while really just avoiding the emptiness. real belief doesn’t need a wiki; midwit faith comes with a study guide.

christcucks don’t give a damn about jesus or any real spirituality—they worship the state like it’s their god. they’re the obedient sheep lining up to defend corrupt politicians, endless wars, and police brutality. their entire “faith” boils down to sucking up to whoever’s in power and snitching on anyone who dares think differently. the church was once a brutal tool of control, and now, stripped of real power, these keyboard crusaders act as the state’s moral police, policing speech and policing minds to keep the system from breaking.

they pretend they’re rebels for god, but they’re just bootlickers for the empire. every “pray for our country” post is just another leash tightening around your neck. they’ll preach love and forgiveness, but the second you step outside their narrow world, they’ll call you a heretic, a sinner, or worse—because maintaining control is their real religion. the state pays them in promises of salvation and social order while they gladly snuff out freedom, all in the name of some twisted holy obedience. they’re not saving souls—they’re keeping the herd in line.
