What I don't like about this article is that it paints the mind of Hitler as this incomprehensible lovecraftian beast, when there are still people who think in the same exact way as Hitler to this day, even on this board, and there will be people who think like Hitler for the foreseeable decades to come afterwards, probably until the day human ethnicities and jews just cease to exist entirely (since the whole point of racism and anti-semitism in the modern day is to notice groups of people who're disproportionately involved in certain fields, or some small deviations in average behavior between 2 groups)
>Unsurprisingly, there are a lot of mundane details too, including the fact that half of Hitlerโ€™s book was devoted to military books
Wow, it's almost like the chuds of today who spend half of their time playing HOI4 and its assorted mods as Nazi Germany... Such an incomprehensible mind...

You know Hitler personally fought in WW1, yeah? He was awarded the iron cross... twice. Is his book collection so strange?

The point of that remark is that it wasn't so strange and incomprehensible after all... But 8,000 military books is still... a lot...

>incomprehensible lovecraftian beast
This is because ideologues react to anything their worldview doesn't account for as incomprehensible terror and evil. Hitler is perfectly straightforward, but he doesn't support le heckin liberal assumptions so he's literally satan. Not even an exaggeration, christians called everything they didn't understand the work of satan back during the witch trials.
