Let's say I was an author and I didn't care about money; That my writing style is new and necessary...
In the current time, where would I "publish" my works, so that some people, the littlest amount over zero, actually took their time and read the whole thing...

Most of -us- in life are invisible, we make no promises, we don't sell value, nothing to excite the greedy hearts, and so no one will take their times to explore our works. But I still would like to try somehow to get at least a few to pause a little and watch the slit...
How should I go about it, make my own site? How do I get people to do more than just glance?

Also don't worry English is not the language I write in, so this post is in no way a foretaste of what I actually write

yep, pretty much. a lot of recent literary figures got their start as bloggers (nick land, mark fisher, etc). i'm told there's lots of serialized "webnovels" too. not my cup of tea, but likely a good venue for you.

i'm not a fan of substack, but they're the most normie-friendly. if you can manage your own IT, set up a blog on wordpress or hugo instead.

if you want to make a bit of cash, you could do a "first chapter free" model where your first chapter is available to anyone and the rest of the book is either paywalled, downloadable as an ebook, or sold as a physical edition.

endorsements from major figures in the communities you want to reach. do the podcast circuit. take out ads in front of relevant videos. fork out the money for a publicist.

OP you sound like you should just make a wordpress site and publish on there, and put the link in your social bios and shit, and put new posts on your story etc.

I would focus on getting your family members and friends to pay attention. besides, their engagement will mean more to you than random faceless strangers
