This bookstore, BookSmith, in SF just publicly declared it is not selling Harry Potter anymore for obvious political reasons. I called and had some fun:

I've never understood the "rules for thee but not for me" attitude. Do people realize how hypocritical it always is? Especially if you're doing it from a left-wing perspective, when their entire schtick is rebelling against supposed tyrannies?

I'm pissed my highschool won't carry the Turner Diaries even after I wrote my boss the principal to add it. He similarly banned Soledad Brother and explicitly forbid me from telling my class that Angela Davis set them up.
