If there was only 1 land claim and no people in the new world capitalism would be arbitrarily handicapping a country. the mercantile class was chartered to do what they did, and the results were mixed.

The bourgeoisie created protestantism, not the other way around. Read The Peasant War in Germany.

Max Weber was a tard. Capitalism had more to do with the advancement of business and economics than it did with which branch of Christianity one follows however that is not to say some ethno-religious groups in Europe were more capitalistic and enterprising than others and this difference was reflected in how they interpreted the Bible and world around them.

furthermore, when Weber speaks of Protestantism he is actually speaking about a specific subset of it namely hardline Calvinism (Huguenots, Presbyterians, and Puritans).

Weber was a hack whose retarded idea was disproved by based macfarlane
Peasants vs. capitalistic farmers:
- The peasant "owner" cannot legally sell family land without permission of children
- A peasant must divide land equally between children; there is no real last will and testament
- Peasants marry young, have children young, and use the children for farm work
- Multiple generations live in the same household
- Poor subsistence farmers

Capitalistic farmers:
- A living man has no heirs and can buy and sell land freely
- An Englishman was free to give his children as much or as little as he wanted, meaning they were at risk of being disinherited if they disappointed him, but land must never be divided; it has to go to only one heir
- Englishmen married late and hired labor instead of using their own children for work; this led to a cash economy
- The nuclear family was the norm as far back as records go
- Rich market traders

tl;dr:
> The English have never been peasants as far as records can reliably show, going back as far as ~1250, according to "The Origins of English Individualism"

I'm not a Protestant but you've got to give the Protty's credit for being the only nations of any consequence in WW2. Something about Catholicism makes nations flabby and weak.

Challenge yourself to wake up every morning and thank The protestants for giving you the mind to work. Challenge yourself to tithe 50% or more of your ibcome to your local protestant church. Challenge yourself to have 100% a mind on God throughout your work day. Challenge your all selves to fall in Love With God at work, and you will never work another day in your life.

The two authors cited above (and others) are certainly not viewing Weber's false thesis as anti-protestant (for instance Rothbard who is ancap and much more cogently traces the labor theory of value as the direct secularization of the scions of Calvin).

Internet Catholics view it as a proof that Protestantism is incorrect.
