Everyone has their own concept of blasphemy and divinity. As an atheist I cannot handle criticism of the natural world and how it would be better if certian aspects were shaped by man, even if man is part of nature. My brain practically shuts off in these types of conversations.

Taboos are not and do not need to be rational. It's not an epic BTFO that they are not consistent in a philosophical sense, because that was never in the definition of what a taboo is.
