Is he worth studying? He had a spat with Derrida, but is his philosophy of mind worth getting into?

I've read one of his books. The Chinese Room Experiment is very relevant these days.

I’m uneasy about some of the #MeToo stuff because it seems like it could come from men misreading signals and thinking they’re gonna get some, and then if they quickly realize they were wrong and apologize, the moment the woman resists their advances, some women want to still air it out and destroy their reputation or career.
I admit it, I’m a chauvinist for putting it this way and for what my focus is on. But there’s a big difference between a man going in for a kiss with a woman he thinks there’s chemistry with, the advance being rejected, and the man apologizing quickly and profusely, and outright rape.
Another instance could be someone agreeing to sex with someone in a “superior” position to them (Professor, employer or manager), then later deciding it was sexual harassment.
God I made the thread into /pol/ right away. Fuck me.

Most women think this is perfectly normal too within the modern dating context. It's just they have something to gain when that guy also has fame.
