Writers of /lit/, how do you manage your repertoire? Do you write short stories, and how many per year? Are you working on a novel, and how often? I am currently writing a novel, but I've taken a break to write some short stories in between. I think moving forward, I would like to write at least two short stories a year only when I find that I need to take a break from writing my novel.

I know that feeling. I have two completed stories that I want to re-write and they were written over a span of two to three years back in 2020-2021.
