Is there an abridge version or formalized version of JPII's theology of the body?
just a reprint of over 100 separate lectures seems like it would be hard to follow
It’s a slog, he repeats himself a lot and writes in spirals. He also completely affirms traditional sexual morality unlike what some claim, including asceticism. The headline for me is when he analyzes shame, how our feeling of sexual shame points toward the meaning of sexuality. Too much to type out in phone. Idk if there are shorter versions but you might not be missing much anyway. It’s not “revolutionary” at all, he’s just saying the same old things from a phenomenological stance.
