Has anybody read Thomas Nagel?
I’m interested in his idealism and his ethical approach.
Where should I start?

his essay "What Is It Like To Be A Bat" I heard is a good introductory essay on his philosophy of mind.

"What is it Like to be a Bat" is the best starting point. If you're more interested in the implications of his philosophy of mind from there, then read "Mind and Cosmos".
"The View from Nowhere" is probably his most essential book.
This isn't really essential reading, but seeing that /lit/ has daily Camus threads with 200 replies by pseuds, I really love his paper "The Absurd," which takes apart a lot of the arguments peddled by Camus fans.
