Buddhism is probably the only religion today that gets close, however, a big thing about gnosticism is positing the existence of another world beyond this one and a soul. Both things that buddhism does not really subscribe to. Nirvana is more of a transcendental state that is neither being nor becoming than another world, I think.

Do you know what anglicanism is? Even when I don't adhere to that institution, I understand it. It is the sovereign right of nations to unite under an idea of common rights, moral values and goals to protect themselves and thrive.
