Henry Kelly's "The Middle English Bible: A Reassessment" has begun a quiet dissemination of this information, but it's still slow-going. The "Wycliffe Bible" was created by Oxford Catholics and co-opted by the Lollards, Wycliffe himself never really advocated for vernacular Scripture in any significant way, and nearly all of the English-language works once attributed to Wycliffe were probably written by his followers instead, not him.
