picrel for me. This book was wonderful, I loved the narrator's voice and the turns of phrase. The weirdness and body horror is always great. I'd highly recommend it.

Highlight line for me was "I was getting empty stomach rotgut drunk", which is something I can viscerally feel.

I liked that one a lot too, very 90s, very grungy. Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys that type of edgyness, it goes wrong so easily but is very well done here
