The only detail that stuck with me is the salty crunch of eating boogers from a dried face. The story gets less heinous and more absurd the further it goes where it just devolves into complete nonsense. You're not even registering anymore who's shitting out who's guts from their dick pimples, etc. It is a funny parody of YA dystopian fiction though.
