The room was half lit. I looked upon the body: twisted and tense, as if forever locked in the final throes of woeful ecstasy it laid, bare naked, a mockish totem of sinew, fat and bone. I felt a deepness in my chest: apprehension and acceptance washed over me as I became sure. My breath shortened, but I did not avert my eyes. As I leaned closer, I began to make out a familiar face. My recollection did not fail me. It was Original Poster: raped to death by a pack of niggers, as he was a colossal faggot.

Orban had recently been raised to prominence with the publication of his debut “Thought-Dream-Thought Continuity”, whose five thousand pages traced the procession of his every thought — including their contents, links, and commonalities — over the course of one year. The book’s drafting occupied the same span as it chronicled, and its conclusion — that all new thoughts are entirely formed by their preceding thoughts, and thus we are (excepting for the instant of our initial sentience) incapable of novel cognition, and ultimately that the mind is “self-despising, self-cannibalising, dishonest, and not to be encouraged” — was met with widespread admiration and disgust.
