Its worse than the usual sloppa choice between le sexy bad boy outside the law and le sexy good chad with lots of cash/respect because its so fundamentally dishonest.
I am not a geek but I have had geek friends who were into pokemon, warhammer, LAN parties etc.
Not once in my entire life have I seen a 5/10 dorky guy be remotely under consideration by his 7/10 obsession vs her 7.5/10 works out twice a week bf. It just isn't something which happens irl.
