I had a nice day today. I developed a fairly severe anxiety disorder last year so this hasn’t happened in a while. I was at a concert in the park, and as I watched the sunset, I felt glad to be in the moment, alive, experiencing what I was experiencing. For a moment, though, I felt tremendously sad, thinking of all the dead who never lived to see a happy day.

I’ve given up on trying to resolve these sorts of feelings, I’m just curious to see if anything has been written about it. To which end: Any books for this feel?
