Stack/shelf & rate thread. Post what you just got, what you're reading, your collection as is, discuss what you're reading, call each other retarded faggots, etc.

Pic related, most recent haul and graduation present to myself.

Political science degree eh?
At least Wallerstein will convert you to historiography.

Much of my political science studies were already multidisciplinary, much less a near history degree of courses to the side of my masters, but not much on historiography as a subdiscipline, which I wouldn't count wallerstein under anyway.

Arendts acknowledgement and handling of the Jewish question is so frank and based she was called a self hating jew for it, and Wallerstein being a Jew doesn't show up in his work at all.

World Systems and Annales were in conflict with CPGB(h) over methodology, so it counts as historiography. If you view PolSci as interdisciplinary what is your home discipline? Philosophy? Sociology? Anthropology? Literary Criticism? Theology?

When put that way I see your point. Much of my degree studies straddled history, sociology, and philosophy on top of traditional political science branches, all towards better understanding of politics past and present. I still consider my home discipline as political science but as the venn diagram center of all the other disciplines, which is why I enjoyed it so much.
