The welsh lost the honor to be called celts when they got pwnd by the English and were forever after known as peaceful little farmers in their wet little land.

Yes, it is, and after reading the OG try reading The Mabinogion Tetralogy by Evangeline Walton which is a severely underrated retelling from the 70s (it even received praised from John Cowper Powys).

Why do I frequently see Irish and Welsh and almost every region's mythology except Scottish? I never see anything Scottish mythology.

The only mythology Scots have is the idea they are oppressed.

The Welsh have the Mabinogion. The Irish have the Tain, the Acallam na Senórach, and loads of other things. While the Scottish have nothing that one reconstruct a mythology from. It wasn't for no reason at all that Macpherson created a faux-epic, after all.

The Welsh also have the Gododdin and the book of Taliesin, now that I think about it.

scots were ruled by the english speaking descendants of anglo-saxons from the lowlands and later on normans despite never having a formal conquest and change in power

Why do retards pretend the celtic speaking peoples were pagan until le angloids came?
The britons and gaels had converted to christianity long before the anglo saxons did. They proceeded to convert the anglo saxons to christianity.

scotland was a notably early adopter of christianity in (what is now) western europe. there's little bits here and there like kelpies and the such, but as a whole scottish mythology was almost exclusively contained to the actual spear-chuckers in the highlands, the lowlands (where almost everyone lived) were largely anglicised / normanised like >>24528991 said
