My copy of Gravity's Rainbow is the Penguin Deluxe Classic edition with deckled edges. They make it impossible to schizophrenically skip back to a previous section every five minutes.

Those aren't deckle edges, they're untrimmed edges roughed up to emulate the edges of handmade paper made with a deckle
