I always buy the prettiest editions so that I have a nice library for my future children. If I were to die tomorrow I have no idea

I have a 5 shelf bookcase right now. Moving from Ca to Ky in 2.5 weeks. The stack I can take with me in my car is about 10 books. The rest are all good but they're just going into the dumpster. I'm too lazy to do anything else.

I have one about foraging. I'm going to leave it in the woods like bums that leave behind their porno magazines.

I'll bury my books. They're safer underground than with feminists. And they might be rediscovered in a few hundred years.

When I'm gone, I hope the act of sorting through my books vaguely resembles the early scene from Don Quixote where they're going through his literature

>This is absolute smut. we should burn it
>I've heard about this one, I'd like it for my own collection
>Reading books like this one is how he ended up so unhinged

I will take them with me to the afterlife, of course.

Either my brother or his children. If they don't want to keep them and are smart they would spend some time researching their value and sell them for a nice profit. If they're dumb they would throw them away or sell them in bulk for a small price. Maybe I could tell them to do the first thing just in case.
If I'm old and sense the end is near I might try to donate them to some small library or something like that.

Nothing that happens after the moment of my death has the least consequence or meaning.
