I've been thinking about writing a fantasy world for later short stories to take place in. Considering dragons are also big lizards, do dinosaurs fit in this genre? Have I been playing too much ARK? (General fantasy writing advice is appreciated too)

There's this series although the author died before finishing it. If I recall there were plans for six books in total.

Warhammer and D&D have dinosaurs alongside dragons. Not a big fan of what little I have actually seen featuring them but I guess it's okay if dinosaurs are just big prey animals for the true apex predators like dragons.
