I genuinely think he's overhated, that he's onto something and there may be a lot of extremely good wisdom to extract from his teachings. Where to start?

Moreover on what base can you tell he is overhated ? You may want to start to learn basic logic and argumentation before reading any philosophy. Come back to /lit/ when you will be an actual reader
